What is Buna?
Buna is a loyalty card and app concept for payments at participating coffee shops and restaurants. It combines customer rewards with a model that allocates part of the programme’s savings to support coffee growers in Ethiopia.
How much goes to the growers?
The contribution rate has not yet been announced. The agreed allocation, eligible savings, grower partners and distribution arrangements will be published before the programme launches.
Where will I be able to use it?
At participating coffee shops and restaurants. The venue list and supported locations will be confirmed at launch; this website does not yet list live participating venues.
Can I get a card or download the app now?
Not yet. This is an information-only website. Card ordering, app downloads, membership activation and payments are not available. Launch details will be published here when the programme is ready.
Will I pay extra to support growers?
The intended model uses a portion of programme savings to support growers. Any membership costs, payment charges and offer conditions will be explained before you join or make a payment.
How is Buna connected to FORUS?
Buna follows the FORUS approach of connecting membership, merchant rewards and payments. Live payment and account services will depend on the approved integrations and programme arrangements established for launch.
